THE PACKING MAN
Named after the Peking Man, their story begins with the search for the heritage and anthropology behind the millions of textiles created by different cultures. They are a lifestyle brand, build on a desire to preserve traditional craftsmanship, committed to bring the products of real artisans to the market ethically. Headquartered in Florence, they travel to meet the makers to combine ethnic textiles with Italian hand-tailoring.
The Packing Man hopes to share the experience of a first hand connection with the craftspeople and artisans behind the textiles they use.
By sourcing from artisans in remote areas of the world, The Packing Man brings the voices of the less travelled villages to the inhabitants of larger urban markets. The action for this brand hopes to make a difference by creating a transparent channel in which sustains the ergonomic lifestyle of the artisans in their culturally rich surroundings.
