This project explores themes of patience, intentionality, and personal growth, reflecting on the contrast between immediate reward and the pressures of consumption and capitalism. It imagines a space where experiences unfold over time, and where the outcomes of preparation, travel, and exploration are messy, layered, and unpredictable.
Visually, the work draws on functional design elements—like the structure of airplane pilot uniforms, parachutes and release levers—as framework, but the collection embraces the chaos that emerges from these preparations and the dreamlike journey itself.

This project was an early exploration of ideas around preparation, travel, and layered experiences. Some elements in the original version drew from cultural sources in ways that were not appropriate. The work has since been revised to reflect safer, more universal inspirations.
